In urban areas, it is common to see orphans and children living in an underprivileged family due to the loss of a family member. They live in unfortunate circumstances due to an inability to fulfill their particular needs. This has affected their education and has contributed to school dropouts right down to children suffering from the hustle on the streets and being exposed to its harmful practices.
In order to address this loss, I Care designs a support system for children by fulfilling their basic needs like school materials, casual clothes, shoes and food stuffs. In addition, we empower their caregivers, usually mothers, to take up income-generating activities in order to support their children and lead a financially stable family.
